One more day, and one more night…
Dr. Astic Measures
Fun factoid: A "planchette" is the little heart-shaped doo-dad that moves around a Ouija board to spell out things.
Iris is creeping me out more than any of the bats or ghosts. That girl ain't right.
Hey, she's handling the situation really well, anyone else would be backing slowly towards the door if some crazy person clearly on the verge of a nervous breakdown came in ranting about bats 'as big as buildings'.
That's kind of the point. What kind of life does she lead that seeing someone on the verge of a hysterical breakdown down't faze her in the least?
The life of someone VERY professional and dedicated to her job. "The client is always right, even when ranting about giant bats."
I like that the guy feels so above Zane he gets his secretary to belittle him instead of doing it himself.
Kinda strange how Zane describes the bats to be as big as buildings and Iris doesn't comment on it at all.
It sounded to me like she went inside pretty soon- she might not have been in a position to see the giant bats
still, no "they were normal sized bats what do you mean large are you ok" and when he said "I almost died if not for maurice and his boys" she says "oh theyre so nice" something is up here
Confirmation, the boys are real. Hurray!
B-but doesn't that mean the giant bats were real too?!
Unless Iris isn't real, either… did you think of that twist?
And… we finally have confirmation that his full name is "Mr. Zane if that is is real name"
Iris mentioned "the three of them are away". This includes the executor plus Iris' father. It was never mentioned who the third was (I'm assuming the other of Loucks and/or Harth).
When Planchett saw Zane for the first time, he thought Zane might be the executor. How long have these lawyers really been away, and are they coming back? So long as they're gone, Iris and others know Zane will stay.
…or maybe they're just amassing billlllable hoooouuuurss……..
"And get Parker in here! I want pictures! Pictures of toilet ghosts!" – Planchett will always by JJJ in my mind. And I will always make that point.
And now the comment about her father is so much more terrifying with today's update.
You have tried a good method to make the readers understand your point of view. that is through the cartoon. i liked it and its easy to understand. its a good and funny story that contains a real fact in it.
