Down the rabbit hole.
This can only end well.
Good for you, Zane. Good for you.
…hope nothing bad comes of all this…
I can't shake the feeling that the bottlefly boys are going to merge together into some cthuluesque Captain Haddock.
Turns out Zane isn't too young for his first upcoming hangover.
Nothing gets you in the good graces of good-natured drunks more quickly than chugging the rest of your drink and buying the next round.
As someone who had a wine-induced headache all day yesterday, I'm curious what kind of hangover Wadsworth is in store for from Switchwater.
Wow, he allready got a half x in his eyes :D
Too bad he is disputing any relationship to her, i hope there will be something (allthough i dont know how old she actualy is!)
Cast page says "late teens." How late into her teens??
Maybe the Bottlefly Boys will be a positive, or helpful part of the pattern that exists in Broodhollow? Or maybe they're eldritch horrors in stupid human costumes, or maybe they're just guys who like a good drink after work. Looking forward to find out how they really fit into all of this.
May I recommend that you read Neil Gaiman's short story 'Shoggoth's Old Peculiar'? Sounds like your cup of tea. Here's a link to him reading it- http://www.sffaudio.com/?p=41430
I am visiting this site for the first time on a laptop with a glossy screen (as opposed to my matte LCD monitor on my desktop) and for the first time I see that the background to the comments section has faded writing in it.
A hidden message! A secret!
Quickly, isolate the image:
Open it in Photoshop!
The text is backwards! Flip the canvas!
More contrast! Less brightness! FILTER IT!
REVEAL YOUR SECRETS!
… hopes dashed. No hidden prize.
But I still love Broodhollow.
Nice eye. Does it say anything, non-hidden prize-ish or not?
Not really, the bottom right (after mirroring of course) of the article repeats from the top, so there's a full article + like 1/5th repeat, and the whole article is just about migrant workers spending 4 hours in a truck to and from their job, the farmer of which has no contact with them due to their contract status, and that their dwellings during this are almost as bad as those of squatters.
Or something like that, summerized. It's a very dated article, mentioning their wages in Cents.
Also, with that bit of info from Zane we can pin his age right now as being somewhere between 21 (legal this year, whatever year it is) and 33 (20 when prohibition started, and this being it's final year assumed for maximum).
Seems kinda 24-26 to me though.
He's 26. Read the "Cast" notes…
And I DID do all that photo edit stuff. It was fun.
Cast Notes. I feel so embarrassed now heh.
Yes… too set in the old ways… become one of us…
From the big guy's face, I'm guessin' first timers are not supposed to chug that down so fast……XD
I love these Boiga Brudders — wait, that's wrong…
"He's going faster than the old train has in years! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!"
Good things will only happen starting from here on in. :D
Um, maybe I'm reading too much into this but WHO exactly said "And what do you say to that?" There's nothing to indicate (except our own assumption) that the the text balloon is being spoken by one of the Bottlefly Boys. VOICES INSIDE HIS HEAD?
Text balloon color is the same as Maurice's so it's probably him.
The yellow lines in the background mirror the bars of the bat's cage.
I think the bat is a 'type' of Wadsworth. Not sure what that means, yet…
Humiliate the little virgin, a game played by factory workers forever :)
